Applicable Qualifications

• Taiwanese citizens (independent travelers).

• Must complete identity document registration on the Domestic Travel Subsidy Application System and present a national ID or National Health Insurance card upon check-in for verification by the accommodation provider.

Core Discounts & Amounts

• Weekday Accommodation Subsidy (2026/09/01 – 11/30, Sunday to Thursday weekdays only)

  • Mainland Taiwan: Up to $2,000 discount for 2 consecutive nights ($800 off for the first night, an extra $1,200 off for the second night).

  • Offshore Islands: Up to $2,500 discount for 2 consecutive nights ($1,000 off for the first night, an extra $1,500 off for the second night).

  • Note: The second night must be consecutive with the first night (different participating accommodations are allowed). Failing to stay consecutively forfeits the second-night discount.

• Birthday Voucher Bonus (2026/09/10 – 12/31, weekdays only)

  • 1,000 lucky birthday celebrants will be drawn each month to receive a $1,200 accommodation voucher.

  • Can be combined with the weekday accommodation subsidy (up to $3,700 off for 2 consecutive nights on offshore islands + birthday voucher).

• Taiwan PASS Railway Edition Bonus (2026/09/01 – 12/31, weekdays only)

  • Purchase a Taiwan PASS Railway Edition ($2,500) and choose to receive an optional $1,500 weekday accommodation voucher.

  • Can be combined with both the weekday subsidy and birthday voucher, bringing total potential savings up to $5,200.

• Theme Park Stay Points (2026/09/01 – 11/30)

  • Travelers who successfully claim the weekday accommodation subsidy can redeem equivalent points (up to 2,000 points) on the Theme Park Points Application Platform for free partner theme park tickets or merchandise.

Steps for Usage

1. Online Registration: Upload a copy of your national ID or National Health Insurance card to the Domestic Travel Subsidy Application System.

   • Staggered Registration Schedule: 8/20 (IDs ending in 0, 1), 8/21 (2, 3), 8/22 (4, 5), 8/23 (6, 7), 8/24 (8, 9), fully open from 8/25.

   • Birthday Voucher Draw: Complete registration between 8/20 11:00 and 9/8 17:00 to enter; eligibility lookup opens on 9/9 at 11:00.

2. Book Accommodation: Reserve directly with participating providers via their official website or phone (third-party booking platforms/OTAs are not eligible).

3. On-Site Verification: Present your ID upon check-in. The provider will verify your identity and apply the discount directly to your room rate.

Important Notes

• Subsidies are calculated per "room", limited to one discount per room per night. Budget allocations are limited and processed on a first-come, first-served basis according to actual check-in order until funds are exhausted.
